My Necron Jade just arrived, and wow. It's my first Benchmade Bali, but I've been collecting Benchmade for a few years now from the Nimravus (BK) Tanto to Osborn, Full immunity (manual), Griptilan, 169BK Protagonist Tanto etc. My first Microtech Bali was the 1st edition Tachyon in Ti (2002) and I've also just picked up a Microtech Glykon OTF in OD Green/Weathered Ti - just Amazing!!

It's just my favorite knife. So many of them have been around 50+ years and still work perfectly fine for their age. No it's not a super steel, but it is easy to sharpen with field tools and stays sharp long enough. I prefer it to more expensive knives and it's USA made!

I love Spyderco but I was tentative about buying at this $260 price point without more premium steel. After reading other comments it seems I’m not alone in this line of thinking. I really hope that this Bodacious releases in magnacut at some point.

The price is a bit high but you do have to remember the value of the dollar has been dropping into the toilet. But if you don't mind supporting communist China you still have those lower priced options. Just bought a subway sandwich yesterday hadn't in at least 4-5 years and it was more than double the last time I got one, ordered it the same way I always have. And to complain about S30V and G10 is a little ridiculous they are still high quality materials just because there are marginally better newer super steels doesn't mean now an S30V blade is obsolete and will not cut. To be honest I actually prefer Spyderco's FRN handles on the Seki models. They are higher quality than the FRN from other manufacturers, and the grip pattern on them just freaking works.

Seriously overpriced.

Benchmade has this knife on their website as of 6-25-24 selling for $240.00. I live near the A.G. Russell show room and I can get this knife there for $207.00. Still too expensive though. I don't understand why it needs to cost so much.

At that price you should get Magnacut or 15v that would still be overpriced but maybe they won’t sell and go on sale once they have been out for awhile

I really like my CRK Small Sebenza but if I was going to buy a large, I'd either get the tanto blade or a tanto Inkosi.

I have a Buck 110 that I don't see featured in this video. Mine looks like your classic 110 but the brass bolsters are less rounded at the edges. Mine was purchased in 1981 or '82.
